You might have already spotted us at Glastonbury, Download, the London Marathon, or Brighton Pride—and while we can’t quite announce where we’ll be this year, we promise it’s exciting!
PEEQUAL is looking for Cleaning Crew to help keep our award-winning women’s (and those who squat to pee) urinals clean and fully functional at some of the UK’s biggest festivals and events.
If you’re practical, reliable, comfortable with cleaning toilets, and have a positive mindset, keep reading! 👇
🧼 THE ROLE
- Support the Cleaning Crew Lead (CCL) in keeping PEEQUAL facilities clean, stocked, and running smoothly.
- Regularly clean and sanitise urinals, touchpoints, and surrounding areas.
- Perform daily quality checks to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Respond to on-site issues and report back to the CCL when needed.
- Handle waste disposal (sh*t happens) as required—if you’re squeamish, this might not be the role for you!
- Expect a hands-on role—you’ll get your hands dirty, but PPE and equipment are provided.
- Work as part of a supportive team, helping to maintain a safe and positive work environment.
- Shifts: Generally 8-10 hours per day, with some shorter half-days (4-5 hours).
- Stay on-site during event show days, either in crew camping or your own live-in vehicle. If needed, PEEQUAL will provide accommodation.
✅ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
✔️ Festival or event crew experience is a plus but not essential.
✔️ Reliable, trustworthy, and flexible with availability and location.
✔️ Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
✔️ Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
✔️ Physically fit and able to stay active throughout your shift.
✔️ Not fazed by waste disposal because sh*t happens—it’s the loo business, after all!
🎉 THE PERKS
- Pre-season training to get you festival-ready.
- A welcoming, enthusiastic team and an open-door policy for feedback.
- Be part of a mission to pioneer pee-equality! đźš»
- PPE provided for the messier jobs.
- On-site accommodation (mostly crew camping).
- Crew catering or alternative food provisions.
- Guaranteed & agreed hours, with some flexibility required.
- ÂŁ15 per hour + a paid lunch break.
- Travel expenses covered according to PEEQUAL policy.
🚨 Want more work? This role runs during festival event days, but you could also join our Build & Break Crew before and after events. Let us know in your application if you’re interested in multiple roles!
